New York State Police investigators from Poughkeepsie are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a wanted man who is facing drug charges and failed to appear in court to answer them.
Investigators released an alert regarding 28-year-old Stamatis Karathomas, who is wanted by State Police and the Town of LaGrange Court for failing to appear for court proceedings, dating back to a 2016 arrest for illegal possession of Oxycodone.
Police described Karathomas as a 6-foot white man with brown hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 190 pounds at the time of his initial arrest. He has been known to frequent New York City, but has family ties to LaGrange.
